Its pilot assembly reacts to changes in downstream pressure, allowing the main valve to modulate and ensure a constant set pressure, sealing shut to prevent downstream damage.

Construction & Features

Features an epoxy coating both internally and externally for superior corrosion protection, and is FDA approved.

Standard inclusions are a pilot assembly, "Wye" type strainer, isolation valves, and inlet and outlet pressure gauges, facilitating quick and easy maintenance.

This valve is built with a ductile iron ASTM A536 main valve body and bonnet, stainless steel disc guide, seat, and stem, and a Buna-N rubber disc with a nylon reinforced Buna-N diaphragm.

The closing speed control (optional) on this valve should always be open at least three (3) turns off its seat.
