The 10" Febco 825YD Series Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies was produced from 1989 to 2013. The 825YD is replaced by the LF860. The 825YD is similar to the 825D but the relief valve design was changed. Relief valve parts do not interchange between the 825YD and the older models. The relief valve is a side mount, bronze body with external sensing line. A newer relief valve can be retrofitted to the older style device with the conversion kit. The early 825YD bodies (1989-1991) were epoxy painted ductile iron, and the later bodies were fused epoxy coated ductile iron. Check assemblies were made of stainless steel. Bronze, replaceable seats bolt into the body.
