Additional Details
The Watts Series 009 1 inch reduced pressure zone assembly backflow preventer is designed to protect potable water supplies from dangerous cross-connections caused by backsiphonage or backpressure.
This compact and modular bronze assembly is ideal for continuous pressure piping applications and at health hazard cross-connections, including the service line entrance, in accordance with national plumbing codes.
A WARNING
It is illegal to use this product in any plumbing system providing water for human consumption, such as drinking or dishwashing, in the United States. Before installing standard material product, consult your local water authority, building and plumbing codes.
Flood Detection Features
- Includes an integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
- When paired with an add-on connection kit (sold separately), the sensor activates to relay alerts for potential flooding events.
