This 1 1/2 inch small diameter double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage or backpressure.

It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as non-health hazards, as well as for contaminants at the service line entrance.

Construction & Design

• Features bronze body construction for durability.
• Equipped with NPT end connections and quarter turn ball valve shutoffs (lever handles for 1 1/2" size).
• Includes top mounted test cocks, two in-line independent positive seating check modules, captured springs, and replaceable check discs and seats.
• Its compact modular design facilitates easy maintenance with a single access cover for in-line repairs.

Freeze Sensor Technology

• Includes a freeze sensor for use with SentryPlus Alert® technology to signal facility personnel when temperature nears and reaches the freezing point.
• Freeze alerts feature is available with an add-on connection kit (sold separately) for Wi-Fi networks, building management systems (BMS), and irrigation management systems (IMS).
