Additional Details

This 1 1/4 inch lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water into the potable water supply. It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as non-health hazards, protecting the service line entrance from contaminants.

Features

  • Modular, compact design facilitates easy maintenance with a single access cover for in-line repairs.
  • Offers low pressure drop.
  • No special tools required for servicing.

Construction

  • Features lead free cast copper silicon alloy body construction.
  • Includes NPT end connections and quarter turn ball valve shutoffs.
  • Equipped with top-mounted lead free ball valve test cocks.
  • Internal iron components are coated with ArmorTek®, a patented three-part advanced epoxy system engineered to reduce microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and protect exposed metal substrate.
  • Contains two in-line independent positive seating check modules with captured springs.
  • Designed with replaceable seats and seat discs for easier maintenance.
  • This 1 1/4 inch model features lever handles.

Freeze Sensor Technology

  • Includes a freeze sensor for use with SentryPlus Alert® technology to signal facility personnel when temperature nears and reaches the freezing point.
  • The sensor is an included standalone component, installed on the assembly exterior, and does not alter assembly functions or certifications.
  • An add-on connection kit (sold separately) is required to activate the freeze sensor and enable Wi-Fi functionality.
  • With the connection kit, freeze alerts can be communicated directly to the user or augmented into Building Management Systems (BMS) or Irrigation Management Systems (IMS).

WARNING: Freeze sensor solely provides alerts about a possible freeze event and cannot prevent a freeze event from occurring. User action is required to prevent freeze conditions from causing product and/or property damage.
