- This atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB) must be installed a minimum of 6 inches (152mm) above the highest point of the downstream piping.
- There must be no shutoff valves downstream of an atmospheric vacuum breaker.
- The connections are Female NPT inlet and outlet, designed to connect to male NPT threaded pipes.
