Additional Details
This 1/2 inch FEBCO Series 850 Small Double Check Valve Assembly prevents the backflow of polluted water into potable water supplies due to backsiphonage or backpressure. It is designed for non-health hazard applications in continuous pressure piping systems and non-potable cross-connections, such as irrigation or industrial processing.
This assembly features a compact modular design for easy in-line maintenance, including a single access cover for repairs. It is equipped with union end connections and quarter-turn ball valve shutoffs.
WARNING: It is illegal to use this product in any plumbing system providing water for human consumption, such as drinking or dishwashing, in the United States. Before installing standard material product, consult your local water authority, building and plumbing codes.
Freeze Sensor Technology
- Includes a freeze sensor for use with SentryPlus Alert® technology to signal facility personnel when temperature nears and reaches the freezing point.
- An add-on connection kit (sold separately) is required to activate the freeze sensor for a full monitoring system.
- When activated, the freeze alerts feature is available for Wi-Fi networks, building management systems (BMS), and irrigation management systems (IMS).
- The sensor can communicate directly to the user via built-in Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for a third-party controller.
WARNING: Freeze sensor solely provides alerts about a possible freeze event and cannot prevent a freeze event from occurring. User action is required to prevent freeze conditions from causing product and/or property damage. Use of the freeze sensor does not replace the need to comply with all required instructions, codes, and regulations related to installation, operation, and maintenance of this product, including the need to provide protection against a freeze event.
