Additional Details

The 1 inch FEBCO LF825YA Angle Pattern Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly with a flood sensor protects against the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids from entering the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure.

This compact, integral assembly is ideal for industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, chemical plants, irrigation systems, and boiler feeds, simplifying new and retrofit installations in limited spaces.

Key Features

  • Features a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
  • An add-on sensor connection kit (required, sold separately) activates flood alerts, enabling communication with BMS, cellular communication, or Sensor Control Monitor for integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
  • Lead Free* construction complies with current lead-free installation requirements, containing less than 0.25% lead by weight on wetted surfaces.
  • Modular relief valve and check valve internal components allow for ease of maintenance.
  • Quarter turn ball valves and angle union connections provide versatility and simplified installation.
  • Compact design and integral flanged unions reduce installation time, labor costs, and materials, eliminating the need for pipe elbows, nipples, and unions.
  • Replaceable seat rings ensure longer valve life.
  • Offers low head loss for optimum performance.

Notice: An add-on connection kit is required to activate the flood sensor. Without the connection kit, the sensor is a passive component with no communication. The flood sensor does not replace the need to comply with all required instructions, codes, and regulations related to installation, operation, and maintenance, including providing proper drainage for discharge.
