This 1 inch Watts Series SS009 Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to protect potable water supplies from pollution due to backsiphonage and backpressure. It is suitable for industrial plants, medical diagnostic equipment, reverse osmosis systems, and chemical plants. Constructed with an Investment Cast 316 Stainless Steel body for superior corrosion resistance, it features NPT inlet and outlet connections and quarter-turn ball valve shutoffs. The assembly includes a SentryPlus Alert flood sensor to detect water discharges from the relief valve, offering advanced protection. Replaceable check seats and a top-entry cover ensure ease of maintenance and economical repairs. Approved to ASSE 1013 and AWWA C511-92 standards.
