Description
Description
The Ames Series AVS 10 inch valve setter with Mechanical Joint by Flange connections is specifically designed to augment "N" series backflow prevention valve installations. Constructed from fusion epoxy coated ductile iron, this valve setter eliminates the need for external thrust blocks by transferring downstream thrust internally. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 175 psi and a temperature range of 32°F to 140°F. The fusion epoxy coating provides excellent corrosion resistance. This lead-free component ensures secure and stable installations for critical water systems.
