Sensor Connectivity

  • This assembly includes a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology.
  • An add-on connection kit is required to activate the flood sensor and enable alerts.
  • Without an add-on connection kit, the flood sensor acts as a passive component with no communication capabilities.
  • Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, or the Sensor Control Monitor.
  • The Sensor Control Monitor enables integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS) via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.

Additional Details

The Colt C500 Reduced Pressure Detector assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable quality water from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure.

It is ideal for protection at cross-connections identified as health hazards, such as on fire sprinkler systems and from other contaminants found at the service line entrance.

WARNING: It is illegal to use this product in any plumbing system providing water for human consumption, such as drinking or dishwashing, in the United States. Before installing this device into a potable product, consult your local water authority, building, and plumbing codes.
