Description

The 10 inch FEBCO MasterSeries LF866 Reduced Pressure Zone Detector Assembly is a lead-free backflow preventer designed to protect potable water systems from high hazard (toxic) fluids. Ideal for industrial installations, it features a durable ductile iron body with a patented ArmorTek® coating for corrosion resistance. This assembly includes a GPM bypass meter and an integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology. Please note, this configuration is supplied without shutoff valves and is not a UL Classified or FM Approved assembly.

Flood Sensor Connectivity

  • An add-on connection kit is required to activate the integrated flood sensor. Without this kit, the flood sensor functions as a passive component and does not communicate with other devices.

The 10 inch FEBCO MasterSeries LF866 Lead Free Reduced Pressure Zone Detector Assembly is engineered to safeguard potable water systems against backpressure and backsiphonage from high hazard (toxic) fluids in industrial installations and applications. This assembly is supplied without shutoff valves and includes a GPM (gallons per minute) metered bypass and ball valve test cocks.

Its ductile iron body is fused with patented 3-part ArmorTek® epoxy coating, delivering advanced protection against microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion. The assembly features replaceable stainless steel check seats and a stainless-steel relief valve seat for enhanced durability and valve life. An integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology detects excessive water discharges from the relief valve.

Important Note: This configuration, supplied without shutoff valves, is specifically noted as NOT an APPROVED ASSEMBLY by FEBCO. UL Classified and FM Approved ratings apply to configurations that include shutoff valves.
