Additional Details

This FEBCO MasterSeries LF870V 10 inch lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed for non-health hazard applications. It prevents the backflow of pollutants from entering the potable water supply due to backsiphonage or backpressure, making it ideal for protecting non-health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance.

This assembly consists of an epoxy coated ductile iron body, flanged end connections, two independent check valves, replaceable stainless steel check seats, and test cocks. The coating utilizes ArmorTek®, a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system engineered to reduce microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and protect exposed metal substrate. The LF870V features Lead Free* construction, with the wetted surface containing less than 0.25% of lead by weight.
