This 10 inch lead free MasterSeries® double check detector backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of polluted water into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure. It is suitable for fire protection systems to detect system leakage or unauthorized water use.

This assembly consists of an epoxy coated ductile iron body, two in-line independent check valves, replaceable check seats, ball valve test cocks, a gallons per minute (GPM) metered bypass, and outside stem and yoke (OS&Y) resilient seated domestic gate valves. It supports both N-pattern and Z-pattern configurations to optimize installation.
