The 12 inch 3000SS Double Check Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of non-potable fire protection substances and other non-potable quality water from entering the potable water supply. This assembly is ideal for protection at non-health hazard cross-connections, such as on fire protection systems and other service line contaminants.

This compact, modular assembly features a stainless steel body, domestic outside stem and yoke (OSY) resilient seated gate valves, and torsion spring check valves. It includes a gallons per minute (GPM) metered bypass to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use.
