The FEBCO 2 1/2 inch LF870V MasterSeries Lead Free Double Check Valve Assembly prevents backflow of polluted water into potable supplies in non-health hazard applications. Featuring a ductile iron body with ArmorTek® epoxy coating for corrosion resistance, this assembly includes non-rising stem shutoff valves and two independent clapper check modules. Its modular design allows for in-line servicing without special tools. Approved for both horizontal and vertical-up installations, it handles pressures up to 175 psi within a 33°F to 140°F temperature range. Installation Orientation
- The FEBCO LF870V Double Check Valve Assembly supports both horizontal (N-pattern) and vertical up (Z-pattern) installations. It is shipped from the factory in the standard N-pattern orientation.
- For vertical up Z-pattern installations, the inlet flow is vertical up and the outlet flow is vertical up.
Connections
- End connections are compliant to ASME B16.1 Class 125 and AWWA Class D Flange standards.

The FEBCO MasterSeries 2 1/2 inch LF870V Lead Free Double Check Valve Assembly protects potable water supplies from backpressure and backsiphonage conditions in non-health hazard (pollutant) applications.
This configurable backflow preventer assembly features a compact modular design for easy in-line maintenance and is ideal for continuous pressure piping applications.
