The Ames 5000SS Series 2 1/2 inch Reduced Pressure Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly guards potable water supplies from contamination in non-potable applications like firelines or irrigation. Featuring durable stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and a lightweight body for easier installation, it includes domestic OSY shutoffs, a flanged inlet, and a grooved outlet. A SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor detects relief valve discharge, with optional connection kits enabling BMS or cellular communication for alerts. The assembly also has a GPM meter to detect leaks. It is suitable for non-potable service applications such as irrigation, fireline, or industrial processing where health hazard conditions exist.
