Description

The Watts 2 1/2 inch Series 957RPDA Reduced Pressure Detector Backflow Preventer protects potable water systems from contamination due to back-siphonage or backpressure in health hazard applications. It features a 304 stainless steel housing, UL and FM approved OSY resilient seated gate valves, and a bottom mounted cast stainless steel relief valve. An integrated SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor detects excessive water discharge, while a gallon per minute meter helps monitor for leaks or unauthorized use. This 2 1/2 inch Watts Series 957RPDA Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly Backflow Preventer provides protection to the potable water system from contamination. It is designed for health hazard applications to prevent back-siphonage and backpressure, and to monitor unauthorized water use from the fire protection system.
