This Ames Colt Series C400 2 1/2 inch stainless steel reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure. Its extremely compact design makes it lighter than traditional assemblies and suitable for smaller enclosures.
