This 2 inch lead free anti-siphon pressure vacuum breaker backflow preventer prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage. It is designed for health hazard continuous pressure applications, such as irrigation systems and industrial process water systems, where water enters equipment at or below its flood rim.

Construction & Features

• Features a lead free cast copper silicon alloy body, silicone rubber check valve disc, plastic check valve seat, and stainless steel springs.
• Includes a bonnet with silicone rubber O-ring seal, a lightweight plastic disc float, and lever handle shutoffs.
• Equipped with test cocks for winterization draining and maintenance.
• Integrated female NPT inlet and outlet connections.

Freeze Sensor Technology

• This model includes an integrated freeze sensor for use with SentryPlus Alert® technology to signal facility personnel when temperatures approach freezing.
• The freeze sensor alerts can be integrated with an add-on connection kit (sold separately) for Wi-Fi networks, building management systems (BMS), and irrigation management systems (IMS).
• A freeze sensor provides alerts about a possible freeze event but cannot prevent a freeze event from occurring. User action is required to prevent freeze conditions from causing product and/or property damage.
