This 2 inch FEBCO Lead Free Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids from entering the potable water supply due to backsiphonage or backpressure. It is engineered for critical applications requiring maximum protection against contamination.

Construction and Components

• Includes two independently operating, spring-loaded check valves and a pressure differential relief valve for reliable performance.
• Equipped with threaded quarter turn ball valves for easy shutoff and maintenance.
• Four top-mounted test cocks are integrated for convenient testing.

Flood Detection and Monitoring

• Incorporates a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
• An add-on connection kit (sold separately) is required to activate the flood sensor for remote alerts via BMS (Building Management Systems) using RS-485 Modbus, cellular communication, or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Without an add-on connection kit, the sensor is a passive component with no communication capabilities.
