Description

The 2 inch Watts Series LFU5B-Z3 Water Pressure Reducing Valve effectively lowers high incoming water pressure to protect residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems while reducing water consumption. Constructed from a Lead Free* cast copper silicon alloy body, this valve is durable and features a bypass for thermal expansion pressure control. It can handle up to 300 psi maximum working pressure, with an adjustable reduced pressure range of 25-75 psi, factory set at 50 psi. The valve is serviceable in line and includes an integral stainless steel strainer. Item 0009204.

  • Incorporates a Z3 sealed spring cage and stainless steel corrosion resistant adjusting cage screws, suitable for outdoor or pit installations.
  • Includes an integral stainless steel strainer that is easily removed for cleaning.
  • Equipped with a high temperature resistant reinforced EPDM diaphragm, suitable for both hot and cold water applications.

  • Designed to protect plumbing systems by reducing supply pressure up to 300 psi (20.7 bar) to an adjustable range of 25-75 psi (172-517 kPa), with a standard factory setting of 50 psi (345 kPa).
  • The bypass feature permits water flow back into the main supply when outlet side pressures exceed main supply pressure due to thermal expansion.
  • Features a replaceable seat module and a removable disc holder for disc replacement, allowing for quick and easy in-line serviceability without special tools or removing the valve from the line.
  • Suitable for water temperatures ranging from 33°F - 180°F (0.5°C – 82°C).
Note: The bypass feature will not prevent a pressure relief valve from opening on the hot water supply system if pressure exceeds 150 psi (10.3 bar).
