This 3 inch AMES 3000SS Double Check Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly with domestic OSY shutoffs and Cam-Check valves is designed to prevent the reverse flow of non-potable fire protection substances and water into the potable water supply. It is ideal for protection at non-health hazard cross-connections such as fire protection systems and service line entrances.

The compact, modular design with a stainless steel body is approved for both horizontal and vertical "flow up" installation, featuring a gallons per minute (GPM) metered bypass for leak detection.
