This 3 inch Series 3000SS Double Check Detector Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection system substances and non-potable water from entering the potable water supply. It provides containment protection for non-health hazard cross-connections due to backsiphonage and backpressure, suitable for fire protection systems.

Primary Use

• Prevents reverse flow of fire protection system substances like glycerin wetting agents or stagnant water into potable water supply.
• Detects underground leaks and unauthorized water use through the furnished gallon per minute (GPM) meter.

• Cam-Check Assembly valve provides low head loss for efficient operation.
• Short lay length makes it ideally suited for retrofit installations.
• Includes an integrated UL Certified, Safety Signaling (Control No. 3L38) supervisory switch on each OS&Y gate valve, which sounds when the switch is removed or the valve is closed.
• No special tools required for servicing for ease of maintenance.
• May be installed in horizontal or vertical "flow up" positions (ASSE Only).

• Furnished with a 5/8" x 3/4" bronze meter (gpm or cfm) for leak detection.
• Includes four test cocks for easy testing.
