Installation Requirements

  • The assembly must be installed a minimum of 12 inches (30.5 cm) above the highest downstream outlet and the highest point in the downstream piping to prevent backpressure.

This 3/4 inch pressure vacuum breaker backflow preventer (PVB) is designed to protect against health hazard and non-health hazard backsiphonage conditions.

It is suitable for use in a variety of non-potable water applications including industrial plants, cooling towers, laboratories, laundries, swimming pools, and lawn sprinkler systems.

Features

  • Features an all bronze body for durability.
  • Includes a spring-loaded check valve and an air relief valve with an opening port.
  • Equipped with two resilient seated shutoffs and test cocks for inline servicing.
  • The valve body is protected from freeze damage by an engineered plastic bonnet.
  • Designed for minimum head loss and offers simple service procedures with all internal parts serviceable from the top of the unit.
  • Includes a freeze sensor for use with SentryPlus Alert® technology to monitor temperature and alert facility personnel when freeze conditions can occur.
  • The freeze sensor functionality requires an add-on connection kit (sold separately) to activate and communicate alerts via Wi-Fi, BMS, or IMS.
