The Watts Series LF800M4FR 3/4 inch lead free pressure vacuum breaker backflow preventer prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage. It is ideal for health hazard continuous pressure applications such as irrigation systems and industrial process water systems where the water enters the equipment at or below its flood rim.

Freeze Protection

• Its superior design protects the valve body and internal components during sudden freeze conditions.
• As ice forms and expands, causing a buildup of pressure, the device relieves the pressure through a unique relief valve built into the plastic float.
• WARNING: Freeze sensor solely provides alerts about a possible freeze event and cannot prevent a freeze event from occurring. User action is required to prevent freeze conditions from causing product and/or property damage.
• WARNING: An add-on connection kit (sold separately) is required to activate the freeze sensor. Without the connection kit, the sensor is a passive component that has no communication with any other device.
