This 3 inch Series 5000SS Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure. It is ideal for health hazard applications and cross-connections in continuous pressure piping systems.

This backflow preventer features a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect continuous discharge from the relief valve, providing early notification for potential flooding events. It comes without shutoff valves ("Less Gates") and includes a gallons per minute meter for detecting underground leaks and unauthorized water use.
