The Colt 3 inch C400 Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly with NRS shutoff valves provides critical protection against backsiphonage and backpressure in potable water systems. This lead-free device is designed for health hazard applications and continuous pressure piping. Featuring a durable Type 304 stainless steel housing, grooved inlet and outlet connections, and an extremely compact, lightweight design for easier installation. An integrated SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor detects excessive relief valve discharge, with active alerts available when paired with an add-on connection kit. This Colt™ 3 inch lead free reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly prevents reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage or backpressure. It is ideal for continuous pressure piping applications and health hazard cross-connections, approved for horizontal installation.
