This Colt™ 3 inch lead free reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water from entering the potable water supply. It is ideal for continuous pressure piping applications and for cross-connections identified as health hazards.

This assembly features a stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check modules, and OSY resilient seated gate valves with grooved inlet and outlet connections. It includes a bottom-mounted pressure relief valve and test cocks for easy maintenance.

Flood Sensor Technology

  • Equipped with a flood sensor featuring SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharge from the relief valve.
  • An optional add-on connection kit (not included) allows the sensor to relay alerts for potential flooding events.
  • Connection kit options include Building Management Systems (BMS), cellular communication, or the Sensor Control Monitor which integrates with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
