Description

This Colt 3 inch Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) backflow preventer assembly protects potable water systems from contamination caused by backsiphonage or backpressure. Featuring a durable Type 304 stainless steel housing and non-rising stem (NRS) shutoff valves, it offers a compact, lightweight design. The integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology detects excessive relief valve discharge, alerting personnel via an add-on connection kit. The Colt 3 inch stainless steel Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly (RPZ) is designed to protect potable water systems from contamination due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure.

This backflow preventer features a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect continuous discharge from the relief valve, helping to prevent potential flooding events. An add-on connection kit is required to activate the flood sensor and enable communication with smart devices or building management systems.
