This 3 inch Ames Deringer™ 40G reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly prevents non-health hazard pollutants and hazardous contaminants from entering a potable water supply system due to backpressure and/or backsiphonage conditions. It is approved for fire protection, waterworks, plumbing, and irrigation applications and may be installed under continuous pressure service.

  • Features a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When activated through an add-on sensor connection kit, the flood sensor can send an alert to notify personnel about potential flooding.
  • Includes in-line serviceable OS&Y gate valves that are resiliently seated.

  • Features a patented Dual-action™ second check module which operates as a poppet style check under low flow and a swing style check under high flow.
