This 3 inch Ames Deringer™ 50 reduced pressure detector Type II backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent hazardous contaminants and non-health hazard pollutants from entering the potable water supply system caused by backpressure and/or backsiphonage conditions. It is primarily required on fire sprinkler systems to monitor unauthorized water use.

• Incorporates a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. Add-on sensor connection kits are available for BMS and cellular communications.
