Description

This 3-inch Lead Free FEBCO MasterSeries LF850 Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly protects potable water from backpressure and backsiphonage caused by non-health hazard pollutants. Featuring a durable ductile iron body with ArmorTek® epoxy coating for corrosion resistance, it is designed for continuous pressure applications. Its in-line serviceable design allows for easy maintenance without special tools. This assembly operates within a 10 to 175 psi pressure range and a 33°F to 140°F temperature range. It is ASSE 1015, UL, FM, IAPMO, CSA, and AWWA C510 compliant.

Help Me Connect

This FEBCO MasterSeries LF850 Double Check Valve Assembly is designed for installation on potable water supply lines at each point of cross-connection to protect against backpressure and backsiphonage. It is suitable for non-health hazard (pollutant) applications where local codes mandate protection from non-potable quality water. The assembly is ideal for continuous pressure piping applications and for protecting against non-toxic contaminants at the service line entrance.

Connections

  • Features domestic Non-Rising Stem (NRS) resilient seated gate valves for inlet and outlet connections.
  • The valve body design is compliant with ASME B16.1 Class 125 and AWWA Class D Flange standards.
