This Maxim™ 3 inch double check detector backflow preventer assembly is designed to protect drinking water supplies from dangerous cross-connections, in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. It is primarily used on fire line sprinkler systems and other non-health hazard, non-potable service applications where monitoring for unauthorized water use is necessary.
