The 4 inch Series 2000SS Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly with domestic OS&Y shutoffs is designed to prevent the reverse flow of polluted water into potable systems, suitable for non-health hazard installations. It features a lightweight, corrosion-resistant 300 Series stainless steel body and cam-check valves for low head loss. Rated for 175 PSI maximum working pressure and approved to ASSE 1015, CSA B64.5, and AWWA C510-92 standards. Its wetted surfaces contain less than 0.25% lead by weight, making it a lead-free solution for various applications.

This 4 inch lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of non-potable water into the potable water supply, protecting against backsiphonage and backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. It is ideal for continuous pressure service and protection at cross-connections identified as non-health hazards and from other non-toxic contaminants found at the service line entrance.

This compact modular design features a stainless steel body and domestic outside stem and yoke (OS&Y) resilient seated gate valves. It is approved for horizontal or vertical installation in accordance with the direction of the flow arrow on the assembly.
