This Colt 4 inch lead free reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and backpressure.

It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as health hazards.

Flood Detection System

• Includes an integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharge from the relief valve.
• When an add-on connection kit (sold separately) is paired, the sensor activates to relay multichannel alerts (call, email, text) for potential flooding events.
• Sensor Control Monitor connection kits enable integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS) via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
