This Colt™ 4 inch stainless steel reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer assembly provides critical protection to potable water systems. It prevents the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water into the drinking water supply, safeguarding against backsiphonage and backpressure in continuous pressure piping applications and health hazard cross-connections.

The assembly features a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology, designed to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When paired with an optional add-on connection kit, the sensor activates to relay multichannel alerts (call, email, text) to notify personnel about potential flooding events.
