Constructed from 304 (Schedule 40) stainless steel, it includes OSY resilient seated gate valves and a bottom-mounted relief valve. This assembly features SentryPlus Alert® technology for flood detection, with an integrated cubic feet per minute meter to monitor leaks. It is ideal for health-hazard cross-connections in industrial and fire sprinkler applications. The unit is rated for 175 psi maximum working pressure and temperatures from 33°F to 140°F, and is ASSE 1047, CSA B64.4, cULus, and FM Approved.

The Colt™ 4 inch reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly is engineered to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water into the potable water supply, addressing backsiphonage and backpressure risks.

It is ideal for cross-connections identified as health hazards, such as fire sprinkler systems and other contaminants at the service line entrance.
