This Colt™ 4 inch reduced pressure detector backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and backpressure. It is commonly used for fire lines, irrigation, and industrial processing applications.
