End Connections

This 4 inch Deringer™ 40G Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer features flanged end connections that conform to ANSI B16.1 Class 125 standards. These flanges allow for secure installation into compatible piping systems. Potable groove couplings are used internally between the body and gate valves.

Shutoff Valves

The assembly is equipped with inline serviceable OS&Y (Outside Stem and Yoke) gate valves. These valves are used for isolation purposes, allowing the system to be shut off for maintenance or testing without affecting the entire water supply.

Flood Sensor Connectivity

The integrated SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor can be activated with add-on sensor connection kits (sold separately) for communication with Building Management Systems (BMS) or cellular networks, enabling remote notification of excessive relief valve discharge.
