This 4 inch FEBCO MasterSeries LF856 Double Check Detector Backflow Preventer is a lead-free assembly designed to protect potable water supplies from non-health hazard pollutants. It prevents backflow due to backsiphonage and backpressure, making it suitable for fire sprinkler and standpipe systems that require detection of unauthorized water usage. This 4 inch lead free MasterSeries® LF856 Double Check Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to protect drinking water supplies from dangerous cross-connections. It prevents the backflow of pollutants due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure conditions, making it ideal for non-health hazard applications such as fire sprinkler and standpipe systems where detection of unauthorized water use is required.

The assembly incorporates ArmorTek® coating technology, a patented three-part advanced epoxy system engineered to reduce microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and protect exposed metal substrate.
