This 6 inch lead free reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. It is ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as health hazards and from other contaminants found at the service line entrance.

This assembly without the shutoff valves features a short lay length lightweight stainless steel body, test cocks, a corrosive resistant bottom mounted relief valve, and a patented cam-check assembly.

Flood Detection

  • Includes a flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
  • The sensor is installed on the assembly exterior and does not alter assembly functions or certifications.
  • Relays a signal that triggers notification to facility personnel for corrective action, thus limiting flooding and costly damage.
  • Requires an add-on connection kit to activate the flood sensor. Without the kit, the flood sensor is a passive component without communication.
