This Colt™ 6 inch Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly prevents contaminated water from entering the potable water supply due to backpressure or backsiphonage. Constructed with a Type 304 (Schedule 40) stainless steel housing and sleeve, it ensures durability for horizontal installations. Key features include non-rising stem resilient seated gate valves, torsion spring check modules, and an integrated SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor to detect relief valve discharge. The Colt™ 6 inch stainless steel reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of contaminated water from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure.

This extremely compact and lighter than traditional designs, this assembly is approved for horizontal installation in accordance with the direction of the flow arrow.
