This Colt™ 6 inch lead free reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is engineered to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and non-potable water into the potable water supply. It protects against both backsiphonage and backpressure in continuous pressure piping applications and at cross-connections identified as health hazards.

This assembly features a stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check modules, and resilient seated gate valves with outside stem and yoke (OSY). It also includes test cocks and a bottom-mounted pressure relief valve. The integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology detects excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When paired with an optional add-on connection kit, the sensor relays alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor, which integrates with Building Automation Systems (BAS) via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
