The 6 inch Ames Deringer™ 30GX Double Check Detector Assembly (DCDA-II) is engineered to prevent non-health hazard pollutants from entering a potable water supply system due to backpressure and/or backsiphonage. This assembly is primarily used on fire sprinkler systems where monitoring of unauthorized water usage is required.

It features an extra-large body and checks for lower head loss, inline serviceable OS&Y gate valves, and a stainless steel body, ensuring high performance at both low and high flow rates under continuous pressure service. The Type II bypass system includes a GPM meter to monitor unauthorized water usage.
