This 6 inch Lead Free Reduced Pressure Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly provides robust protection for potable water systems from contamination due to backpressure or backsiphonage. It is specifically designed for health hazard applications and includes a flood sensor to monitor unauthorized water use from the fire protection system, providing alerts for potential flooding events.

This assembly is extremely compact and significantly lighter than traditional designs, approved for horizontal Z pattern installation. It features a stainless steel body with a quick access sleeve, torsion spring check valves, and domestic outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valves. A cubic foot per minute meter is integrated to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water usage.

Flood Sensor Technology

• Equipped with a SentryPlus Alert® flood sensor to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
• Relays a signal to facility personnel for corrective action, limiting flooding and costly damage.
• Requires an add-on connection kit to activate full flood alert features; without the kit, the sensor operates passively.
• Compatible with BMS, cellular communication, or the Sensor Control Monitor for integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
