This 8 inch Lead Free Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly with Domestic OSY Shutoff is designed to prevent the backflow of polluted water into potable water systems. Ideal for non-health hazard cross-connections and continuous pressure piping, it features a durable epoxy coated cast iron body with patented ArmorTek® technology for corrosion resistance. Consists of an epoxy coated cast iron body, domestic outside stem and yoke (OSY) resilient seated gate valves, top mounted test cocks, two in-line independent positive seating check modules, captured springs, and replaceable check discs and seats.
The coating on this backflow assembly utilizes ArmorTek®, a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system engineered to reduce both microbial-induced corrosion (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion.
