This 8 inch Lead Free double check detector backflow preventer assembly, Series LF757NDCDA, is designed to prevent the backflow of non-health hazard pollutants that are objectionable but not toxic from entering the potable water supply system. It is suitable for continuous pressure service, protecting against both backpressure and backsiphonage. This assembly is primarily used on fire sprinkler lines when it is necessary to monitor unauthorized use of water.
