Description
Description
The Maxim 8 inch Lead Free Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly with NRS shutoff valves prevents non-potable water from entering the potable water supply. Ideal for non-health hazard cross-connections like high-flow fire systems, it protects against backsiphonage and backpressure. Featuring a compact 304 stainless steel housing, patented Tri-Link check modules for minimal pressure loss, and grooved end connections, this assembly ensures easy installation and serviceability. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI and is approved for horizontal, vertical, or N pattern installations. Wetted surfaces contain less than 0.25% lead.
