The Maxim™ 8 inch Reduced Pressure Detector Backflow Preventer Assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of non-potable water and fire protection substances into the potable water supply. This assembly protects against backsiphonage and backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements, making it ideal for health-hazard cross-connections like fire sprinkler systems and service line entrances.

This compact, modular backflow preventer features a 304 stainless steel body and sleeve, OSY shutoff valves, and a gallon per minute meter for leak detection.
